China :)

In Home EC we have been assigned a project whereby we research a country of our choice and choose two savoury dishes and one sweet dish based on traditional food from that country. Myself and Rebekah chose China as we love Chinese food and would love to be able to cook a healthier version of take away. On Tuesday we made sweet and sour chicken with boiled rice. We followed a recipe that had been given great reviews and thankfully our turned out great too! So glad we picked china :) The two of us had not done Home EC for junior Cert and I think for that reason the novelty of cooking is still there and we felt like we had accomplished something amazing when nothing burned :)
