As part of Transition Year we have been asked to get into groups and form our own small companies. We are to sell products of our choice and to try be innovative and creative.Myself and my friends decided to go in a group together. Our group consists of myself, Niamh C, Niamh P, Niamh Mc C, Oriana and Orlaigh.
We decided on manufacturing a book even though we were advised not to. Our book is a beauty book. In it we give step by step instructions on how to achieve different hairstyles, Make-up styles and overall grooming. We are also making a web page where our book can be downloaded instead of having a physical version as this shows an innovative side to our product. We have researched how to achieve these looks properly and asked beauticians to help us. Miss Ireland has endorsed our product and a lot of local companies have sponsored us. We are fundraising so we can manufacture our book as from our market research we have discovered that people would prefer to have the option of buying a download and a book. We have visited a studio and have gotten the pictures taken for the book, hopefully we will be ready to sell soon!
